Here is a Keurig 2.0 coffee brewer, it’s the K550 model, it’s nice but it’s got one big problem, it’ll only allow you to brew these Keurig 2.0 certified k-cup such as the Starbucks one and you can see, it’s got the ring around the edge which the brewery before to let you grew the cup coffee, however if you have one like this Tim Hortons k-cup, you can see, it’s missing a ring around the edge and some older k-cups don’t have that ring either and also if you use refillable such as the ego brew.
It also will not read them, as you can see when you put in the cartridge up it’ll just say hoops, you cannot do it, so that’s no fun but there’s a workaround, you can take off the top 10 the certified k-cups and i’ve just carefully cut that off and stock a piece a tape right on the bottom side and then like ha left to do is just cover the non-certified Cup, sure the tape is in place and place it in the brewer, and now it says it’s okay to brew, and there you go the quick fix for the Keurig 2.0 issue, enjoy ….
